OMAHA (DTN) -- U.S. corn planting was estimated at 36% complete, and soybean planting was 25% complete as of Sunday, May 5, according to USDA NASS' weekly national Crop Progress report released Monday.

Corn emerged was estimated at 7%, and soybeans emerged were 9%.

Winter wheat headed was 43%. Winter wheat conditions were rated 50% good to excellent, back up 1 point from 49% the previous week.

Spring wheat was 47% planted and 12% emerged.
